Miriam Ayón Cano, presidenta de la Red de Mujeres de Baja California declaró que en los casos de feminicidios, también se debe investigar el concepto en el que fue asesinada la víctima
Tijuana.- Casi en la mitad de los homicidios de mujeres que han sido juzgados, las víctimas fueron asesinadas dentro del hogar, indicó el análisis sobre la perspectiva de género en las sentencias de feminicidio en el estado, realizado por la Red de Mujeres Unidas por Baja California.
Según el estudio el 47 por ciento de 51 casos analizados ocurrieron en el domicilio conyugal, en la casa de la víctima o en la del agresor.
El 12 por ciento de los feminicidios ocurrieron en la vía pública, el 10 por ciento en el lugar de trabajo de la víctima y en el 31 por ciento de los casos los expedientes no contaban con esa información.
Además de que según el estudio, los hechos ocurrieron principalmente entre las 7 de la tarde y las 6 de la mañana.
Los casos estudiados por la Red fueron las versiones de sentencias de feminicidio y tentativa de feminicidio clasificadas con perspectiva de género, públicas de sentencias del Tribunal Superior de Justicia en el Estado (TSJEBC).
En total analizaron 51 sentencias realizadas entre el 2020 y mayo de 2023, en los municipios de Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenada, Playas de Rosarito y Tecate.
El análisis fue presentado por Elsa Jiménez Larios de la Red, en compañía de Miguel Ángel Mora Marrufo, presidente de la Comisión Estatal de los Derechos Humanos de Baja California (CEDHBC).
Miriam Ayón Cano, presidenta de la Red de Mujeres de Baja California declaró que en los casos de feminicidios, también se debe investigar el concepto en el que fue asesinada la víctima, las pruebas, la reparación del daño y su seguimiento, entre otras.
“Que se analicen las pruebas o los procedimientos adecuados para que se pueda determinar cuáles fueron las causas, las circunstancias y que eso nos permita prevenir a las mujeres”, dijo
Agregó que las investigaciones en torno a las muertes violentas contra las mujeres continúan siendo sin ser investigadas con perspectiva de género, ni como un feminicidio.
